We’re excited to share that Supernova Alliance has been awarded a $4,900 grant from Virginia Humanities at WHRO to support our Amplifying Talent program during the 2026 Supernova International Ska Festival.
Amplifying Talent gives college students hands-on experience in live event production, broadcasting, audio, video, photography, and storytelling alongside industry professionals. What began as a pilot program has grown into an incredible opportunity for the next generation of creators to gain real-world experience at one of the country’s premier independent music festivals.
This year’s program will once again bring students to Fort Monroe to work behind the scenes with artists, production crews, and media teams throughout Supernova weekend.
